Are you still with me? Time to check in!! If we are following the schedule, you should be finished with Matthew and have started Mark. I know this is hard, but you have to stick with it!! let's go! =)
Matthew 21
verse 21-22 says: "Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Check out Mathew 17:20. Think of all the things that we can do if we only have faith in our Lord Jesus.
Matthew 24
verse 36 says "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[6] but only the Father." But if the Son is the Father, then how come the Son doesn't know?
Matthew 25
Would you rather God tell you this or this when you face Him at the end of the ages? hmmm...
Matthew 25
verse 15- Do you know what Judas betryed Jesus for? 30 silver coins. I wonder how much that is worth in our terms today. What would you betray Jesus for? what HAVE you betrayed Jesus for? Money? material wealth? work? lust? time? the list goes on...
verse 25... Jesus already knew that Judas was going to betray him and it sounds like Jesus basically called him out at the last supper. Did the other disciples not hear this? Why didn't they do anything about it?
